Botox® Cosmetic ( onabotulinumtoxinA ) is a sterile purified botulinum toxin type A produced from fermentation of Hall strain Clostridium botulinum type A bacteria. Botox® will block the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscles. Botox® can also be used to shape the eyebrows, lift the eyebrows; in case of asymmetry of brow correct the asymmetry. A. No the pain is minimal. If you have a low tolerance for pain we can apply a topical anesthetic cream for 15 minutes.

Q. How do I choose where to have my Botox injection?

Q. I had Botox injection somewhere else before and I was not pleased because my eyebrows were feeling heavy and were lower. What caused that and would I get the same result again?
A. No, you should not. The Botox injection should raise the eyebrows and separate them by relaxing the muscles that pull the eyebrow together and causes glabellar line and the line on the top of your nose. If your eyebrows came down this was due to the injections being too low on the forehead or the entire forehead muscle was weakened and could not pull the eyebrow up.
