How Microdermabrasion works
Microdermabrasion exfoliates the top layer of dead skin cells by using a powerful stream of micro aluminum oxide or salt crystals. It consist of scraping the skin by using a controlled flow of micro crystals. The sucking action of microdermabraison stimulates the skin's collagen and exfoliates away the outer layer of skin.

Duration of Microdermabrasion treatment
Microdermabrasion treatment last about 30 minutes for face only. Some of our patients in Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach prefer to have their neck to be treated also; in that case the treatment will take about 45 minutes.

How many treatment of Microdermabrasion
Do I need to reach the best Result?
We recommend at least six treatments, followed by a maintenance program of one treatment monthly or every other month. Some people might need twelve treatments.

Recovery time from Microdermabrasion
There is no downtime following microdermabraison treatment. The patients can return to their regular activities the same day. We advise our patients in Jacksonville to use sun block at least three days following the treatment.

The charge for a package of six treatments is 500.00 for face only. The charge for individual treatment is 125.00. This charge includes a complementary Skin consultation with our aesthetician.
